Getting there
Fly into Mexico City (MEX)
Benito Juárez International Airport is the main hub, well connected from most major US and international cities. Felipe Ángeles (NLU) is a secondary option to the north.
From the airport
Authorized airport taxis and Uber/Didi are reliable. The ride into Roma Norte / Condesa takes 30–60 minutes depending on traffic.
To Tepoztlán
Tepoztlán is about a 1.5-hour drive south of Mexico City. We'll share a shuttle schedule for the wedding day closer to the date.
Where to stay
Mexico City (Thursday night)
We recommend basing yourself in Roma Norte or Condesa — walkable, leafy, and full of great food. Boutique hotels and apartments abound.
Tepoztlán (Fri & Sat nights)
Plan to stay two nights in Tepoztlán for the wedding weekend — Friday and Saturday (the wedding night). Our hotel, La Buena Vibra, is just below, and there are also plenty of lovely Airbnbs tucked around town if you'd rather have your own spot.

Rideshare
Uber and Didi work throughout Mexico City and are inexpensive. Great for getting between neighborhoods and events.
Good to know
December weather is mild and dry — sunny days, cool evenings. Pack a layer for the rooftop. Tap water isn't potable; stick to bottled.

The classics
Wander the Centro Histórico and the Zócalo, catch a show or just the architecture at Palacio de Bellas Artes, and stroll Chapultepec Park with a stop at the world-class Museo Nacional de Antropología.
A little further
Climb the pyramids at Teotihuacán, get lost in colorful Coyoacán and the Frida Kahlo Museum, or drift through the canals of Xochimilco on a trajinera.
Eat & drink — Mexico City
Sit-down favorites
Book ahead for Pujol or Quintonil for a special tasting menu, grab the tuna tostada at Contramar for lunch, and don't skip a classic cantina dinner in Roma or Condesa.
Street eats & sweets
Tacos al pastor at El Huequito or El Califa, market browsing at Mercado Roma or Mercado de San Juan, and churros con chocolate at El Moro to finish the night.

Sites to see
Hike up to the Tepozteco pyramid for unreal valley views, explore the Ex-Convento de la Natividad, and browse the artisan and food stalls along the town market — best on weekends.
Where to eat
Try local itacates from a street stand, sit down for traditional Mexican at Los Colorines, relax at the café in La Sombra del Sabino, and cool off with a scoop from Tepoznieves.
